Group Executive Committee

Consmin established a Group Executive Committee in February 2009.

While the Board of Directors has overall responsibility for establishing the strategy and objectives of our Group, and for determining certain reserved matters principally relating to specified events outside the ordinary course of business (including approval of any distributions to the Consmin’s shareholder, approval of any significant changes to accounting policies or practices and approval of any changes to the Consmin’s capital structure). The Company has delegated operational management of the Group to the Group Executive Committee, which, among other things, has specific authority to:

Oversee the financial, operational and safety performance of our operating companies

Oversee Board-approved strategies, plans of action, risk policies, annual budgets and business plans

Approve capital expenditure and operating expenditure in respect of our Australian and Ghanaian operations above and below certain thresholds

Establish and maintain Group policies, including in respect of personnel matters


Oleg Sheyko

Chief  Executive Officer

Oleg Sheyko re-joined the Consolidated Minerals Board of Directors in 2017 when he was appointed as its Chief Executive Officer and he is also a member of the Group Executive Committee. Oleg served as Managing Director of Metals Solutions Limited since March 2007. He was instrumental in the formation of Consolidated Minerals through the first acquisition of Consolidated Minerals Australia and he has also played a leading role in advising on capital market transactions. Oleg has more than 30 years’ experience in corporate finance with strategic leadership roles in several global financial institutions and companies. He has led cross‑border M&A transactions with a total value of more than twenty billion dollars. Oleg’s experience also includes capital management, private company growth management, equity and debt raisings and project finance. He is able to draw upon significant sector experience including financial institutions, energy, resources and mining, infrastructure and telecoms. Oleg has a BSc (Economics) from Moscow State University, together with a PhD (Economics) and an MBA from the Academy of Foreign Trade, Moscow.

David Slater

Director and Chief Financial Officer
ACA and BSc (Hons) (Engineering)

David Slater joined Consolidated Minerals as Group Financial Controller in April 2012 and was promoted to Chief Financial Officer of the Group in September 2013, whereupon he joined the Board and the Group Executive Committee. David has previously worked in finance for a number of large multi-national listed companies and private equity businesses. David is a qualified chartered accountant with over 20 year experience and also holds a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Natural Gas Engineering. David currently resides in Jersey.

Jurgen Eijgendaal

Managing Director: Ghana

Jurgen Eijgendaal joined Ghana Manganese Company Ltd (GMC) in 1998 as the Resident Director and has served as Managing Director of GMC since October 2002. Prior to joining GMC Jurgen worked as Managing Director of an underground chromite ore mine in South Africa. Jurgen holds directorships at Nsuta Gold Mining Ltd (NGM 2008 – to date), Your Geotechnical Partner Ltd (YGP – 2013 to date), Hotopo Resources Ltd (HRL 2014 – to date) and is a non-executive director at the TSX-V listed Castle Peak Mining Ltd (CAP 2012 to date). He has been the President of the Ghana Chamber of Mines for two terms between 2006 and 2010 and is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Ghana Railway Development Authority (GRDA). Jurgen holds a Master of Arts degree from the University of Leiden and currently resides with his family in Ghana

Mark Camaj

General Manager: Marketing

Mark Camaj joined Consolidated Minerals in January 2013 as Marketing Manager and was subsequently promoted to General Manager Marketing in December 2013. Prior to this Mark worked as Senior Analyst and Market Research Manager for the International Manganese Institute based in Paris for six years and as a Compensation Analyst at Arrow Electronics, a large international supply chain distributor, headquartered in New York. Mark started his career as an accountant. Mark holds a Bachelors in Finance and Economics from Paris ESLSCA Business School and a MBA from the New York Institute of Technology and currently resides in Jersey.
